Xochicalco Ruins, Near Taxco (20 Dec 99)

Xochicalco ruins dominate the top of a hill near Cuernavaca in the state of Morelos. These ruins include elaborate carved façades that apparently indicate interreaction with post-Teotihuacan cultures. In addition, references to the feathered serpent also also indicate Mayan influence.
