1, Km 101 Hwy 3, Baja 500 (06-01-02)
Bikes & quads started the race off at 0600, one by one at 30 second intervals, followed by four wheelers at 0730. From the starting gate, competitors follow city streets down into a drainage wash & out of town. Eventually, all the vehicles make it out of the wash & up onto the Tecate-Ensenada road (at kilometer 101) for a long paved stretch to Guadalupe wash.
