| The experimental components worked fine, but a good old fashioned CV joint failed about half way through the race, within a mile of our Pit. John's initial lap time was very competitive. Lap two saw our old nemesis surface again, we had two flat tires on the same lap. John made one more pass past us on lap three, then radioed in the bad news. We long for the simpler days when John suffered poor handling, but ran up front and even finished fourth overall at last year's Primm! | ||||||||||||||
