Trip to Italy Capri (04-28-04) |
After a forty five minute crossing from Naples, Cindy & I arrived in Capri. Cindy humored me & climbed aboard a rented scooter & we traveled the entire Island. To go from Capri to Anacapri, you have to traverse this virtual cliff wall on a steep and narrow road-bridge, heavily traveled by killer mini-buses from hell. Fortunately we could stay ahead of them by squirting through narrow nooks & crannies! After our tour, I felt Capri's most interesting areas are concentrated in the alleys & plaza's at the top of the Funicular's run, and the area surrounding Marina Picola.
