Dear Family & Friends

Once again, we hope the year brought you good health and happiness, and we wish all of you a very merry Christmas.

For us, it was one of those unusual years where school & work dominated every facet of our life's. But that didn't stop us from having some fun as well!. For one, we got a chance to up our techno-nerd standing in the world by adding the internet to our life. And through this little modern day marvel, we can share with you some of the events the punctuated  our year!.

In January, Cindy's brother, Bill, dropped in for a working visit. On his time off we whisked him off to Puerto Nuevo, Baja California, for some lobster.

February was a solemn month. Cindy's father passed away and to honor his request, his ashes where scattered over the Pacific Ocean just outside San Diego Bay. February was also the month of our usual pilgrimage to the Crab Feed in Northern California, & to stay with our good friends the Chalburg and Shipman families.

May brought the final project presentation for school. Bringing three very long months of effort to a successful conclusion.

In June we took a reconnaissance trip to Puerto Peņasco, Mexico, to see what might be available for a group trip.

July Found us escaping the heat on top of Mt Pinos, Investigating the Square Riggers with the Harding's, or BBQ'ing with the Xaudaro's & Stewart's.

By September, The weather cooled & we could once again visit the Alonsos  in Arizona. They, in turn, returned the visit to San Diego & Puerto Nuevo shortly there after.

In November, The Cohn's where gracious enough to have us for Thanks Giving. About that time this web site had already begun to record our trips in excruciating detail, with trips to Glamis, Superstition Mountain, and the Campo Railway Museum.

We can only hope all went well with you & wish you an even better New Year!.
